Our move to Hartland was prompted by the urge for a challenge, to live in a truly beautiful place in a special house. Since we began, what has resulted is niche finding, a place where our various skills and life experience has come together to create what we hope will be a memorable experience for our guests.
Our desire is to give guests calmness and relaxation, where one might arrive after a long journey or a stressful time at work and where instantly you can take a huge breath of our clean, fresh air and shed worries for a short time. We will do all we can to help you relax and facilitate what you feel like doing. We are very happy to chat and share, but equally we are happy to be unobtrusively in the background if you need some solitude.
We are passionate about where we live and love to share it with those who stay with us. Anticipating what people need is something we strive to do, to treat each guest as an individual and think of and deliver the smallest of touches to make our guest’s stay memorable.
Ruby the fox red Labrador and Oscar the moggie also live here. They take their customer service role very seriously but can be very much in the background if guests aren't too keen or have allergies. Ruby never goes upstairs, Oscar tries but never in the bedrooms. We regret that we can't accommodate guests' pets - please feel free to share ours!
So come and take your foot off the pedal for a bit. Like William Henry Davies said 'A poor life this if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare'.
